On The Mend

Good news on the knee front. It's still a little tight, but I was able to run on it this morning.

On an unrelated note, tonight the next Harry Potter movie opens in Israel. Michelle and I will be catching the 10:30 show. Apparently all of Michelle's friends have been attempting to predict what will happen the end of the last book (due out this weekend) so I thought I would chime in. Really I don't have much to lose. If I'm right, I come off looking like a genius. If I'm wrong, I'm just another guy who got it wrong. Really, I don't know why everybody isn't doing it. Oh wait. they are.

Let me preface this by saying that I haven't read anybody else's predictions so if my prediction is the same as somebody else's I'll just have to chalk it up to mutual genius.

OK. We know that two main characters will die. We also know that either Harry or Voldemort has to die. Or Neville or Voldemort has to die. The prophesy is kind of vague like that. We have also been told repeatedly that Harry's biggest weapon is his capacity for love. With all of that in mind I predict that both Harry and Voldemort die (did you see that one coming?!?!?!). I see it working out like this: Voldemort is toying with Harry and tells him that he has to watch his friend die. Harry dives in front of the killer spell to save his friends and dies in the process. Because Harry is a horcrux Voldemort ends up killing himself as well. The prophesy was really talking about Neville (who maybe delivers the death blow to Voldemort). The end. Just remember that you heard it here first.
