Vive La France
As much as I love French fries and French toast, this post is dedicated to actual Frenchmen. The kind who come from France. The explanation for my new francoplilia is that French investors have purchased our apartment and seem content to continue renting the apartment to us. I know that we have a lease, but our lives will be a whole lot simpler if we're on the same page as our new landlords. Especially if that page involves us staying in the apartment.
Now, I must provide the disclaimer that I have not actually met or spoken to the new landlords yet. Everything I know comes courtesy of the previous landlord's real estate agent - who was very surprised that the new landlords hadn't introduced themselves yet. I'll know more after talking to the new landlords, but for now all signs seem to point towards us staying in the apartment. Not a bad start to the Jewish new year.
Easy and meaningful fasts to everyone. And may you all have good final final inscriptions in the book of life.

Je m'excuse d'avance . . . but we say Vive LA France . . . .
Am I a royal nitpicker?
No problem at all. No offense meant (and I hope none taken).
My French pretty much stopped at "je ne parle pas Francais."
