Busy Busy Bee

I got a haircut. Since practically nobody voted I guess people don't really care.

Anyway, this week has been incredibly busy. Like really really busy.

Anyway, I can hear the shuttle honking so I better run. To America. Well....I could if I wanted to.

I Want to be Lex

Many of you are probably familiar with my friend Lex who has a knack for both creating funny videos and winning contests. I too contributed recently to a funny video, and despite lacking Lex's professionalism and experience, I think it came out well. The video was created for the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism's Project Reconnect to help raise interest and awareness in the Kol Dichfin program. The program helps arrange for college students and unaffiliated young adults attend Passover seders. In order to appeal to this younger audience, Project Reconnect commissioned a "viral" video be produced. Prepare to be infected:

I Wasn't Kidding

In an the previous post my hair is now HUGE. It hasn't been cut since the wedding (over 6 months and counting). Check out the HUGE-ness!

The big question now is what exactly to do with all of this hair. I have an appoint to get it cut on Thursday, but I don't know exactly what I want to do with it. Should I return to the army approved short haircut, the intermediate version I wore to my wedding, or something else altogether? I'm open to your thoughts and ideas - short? long? Mr-T style mohawk? It will be up to America to decide (while I reserve the right of presidential veto of course). If you're super creative you can even create hair mock-ups that I will post online to help sway voters' opinions. Let the photoshopping begin!

Same Old Same Old

I offer no excuses for my recent lack of blogging, only explanations. And I hope that these explanations will evoke enough empathy and understanding that I will merit forgiveness or at the very least fill you in satisfactorily on the events of the past month (which is the whole point of the blog in any case).

Three things contributed to my lack of blogging:

1) We had close friends from the States visiting with us for a week. While their presence was great for Michelle and me, it was not so good for the blog.

2) As soon as those friends left we experienced a crisis at work. I don't want to go into the details of the predicament, but it required putting in a lot of additional hours and left little time or energy for blogging.

3) Throughout the entire time I have been gradually getting sicker and sicker as I am overdue for my next infusion of medicine. It wouldn't have been such an issue except that by the time I had the time to start blogging again; I simply wasn't up to it. It was enough of a struggle staying productive at work.

All that being said, I am receiving my next infusion on Sunday which should represent a turning of the proverbial corner for me health-wise. I should have more energy, be happier, and have more of an inclination to post.

Also, as some people have noticed, my hair is HUGE. It really is. I haven't cut it since the wedding. HUGE.
